Scene heading or a slug line provides particular information to the readers. Scene head lets the readers know if it is the day or night in the scene and whether it is happening inside the location(interior, denoted as INT.) or outside the location(exterior, denoted as EXT.)

3. Action Description

Description of what is being shown in the scene is called Action Description. It is critical that these lines are written in present tense. It is also very important that action description is highly visually descriptive.

4. Dialogue

Very simple to understand and the one most are familiar with, Dialogue is what your character says. While writing dialogues, one needs to make sure they are appealing.
